Richard Milone
Richard Milone regularly performs in a variety of venues throughout the world ranging from solo concertos, recitals and chamber music to countless opera, chamber and symphony orchestra concerts.
Richard studied at both Yehudi Menuhin and Chethams schools of music followed by graduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. During this period he started his professional career, freelancing with the Manchester Camerata and the Goldberg Ensemble. At the age of twenty-two, he was appointed as principal second violin in Opera North, Leeds. A year later he was appointed to the same position in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London. From his position in that orchestra Richard got to work with such artists as Georg Solti, Bernard Haitink, Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and Darcey Bussell.
Richard now freelances in London dividing his time between as many different orchestras and chamber music ensembles as time allows.
Brian Lloyd-Wilson
Brian Lloyd-Wilson's passion for probing music's innermost secrets provoked a fascination for performing with instruments the 'old masters' would have recognized. He matches the individual skills of some of the world's outstanding period instrument specialists to projects as diverse as the 17th century trio sonata and premiers of 20th century compositions. His performances on modern instruments are consequently deeply informed by this experience.
Apart from his director/soloist role with Camerata of London and The City of London Chamber Players (which he founded and with which he has toured worldwide, given concerts throughout the UK and appeared on live TV in 22 countries), Brian Lloyd-Wilson has appeared as guest leader with groups such as the Gabrieli Consort and Players. His name can be seen on CDs of all the major English period instrument groups. He is a founder member of The Baker Collection (Oxford 1672-83) - the Oldest English Violin Consort.
Alongside his performing work, he is a committed teacher opening the storehouse of music to both young and old through the Kodaly/Colourstrings approach to music education.
Thomas Jackson
Thomas studied at Chetham's School Of Music followed by the Royal Northern College
of Music where he graduated in the year 2000. Thomas quickly achieved
a full time post in The Prague Philharmonia where he worked for
over a year. Since being in London, Thomas has worked with many
of the country’s leading Symphony and Chamber Orchestras as a freelancer,
including the RPO, Philharmonia, RLPO, RSNO, BBC Scottish and
Northern Sinfonia. He was recently appointed to a full-time position with the Ulster Orchestra.
Thomas was a member of 2004's Southbank Sinfonia
and has led performances in many major venues internationally as
well
as directing Mozart's 5th concerto from the violin. He has also
appeared as leader with the Brandenburg Sinfonia. Chamber music
has always played a very important role in Thomas' life, and
he has played solo recitals throughout the UK.
